Walk description

Liverpool is unique in having two 20th century Cathedrals – one Anglican, built in the Gothic style, and one Roman Catholic, a modern cathedral building. The street that runs between them is fittingly called Hope Street – and which also contains a world famous theatre, concert hall and public house as well as many other fascinating buildings, some of which remind us of its 19th century associations and others which bring us up to date to the forefront of the City’s regeneration.
